St John’s Island, a wild place outside Singapore

Outside the hustle and bustle of the city, find some peace and nature in St John’s Island. The island is half an hour away by boat and offer clear waters resting on a white beach, so it is becoming a more and more popular place to visit on a one-day trip.

The wildlife is omnipresent with coral reefs, mangroves, coastal plants and other wonders from Mother Nature. You can even play with the numerous cats living on the island! For those who are fond of fishing, you can meet several companions who come to fish in this quiet place.

If you have time, you can also hop on the Lazarus Island, connected to St John’s Island by a walkway, or you can also explore even further on the wild island of Pulau Seringat. Singapore may not be known for its natural beaches, but with these Islands you will get your fill of nature and sightseeing for the day!

Don’t forget to pack all the necessities (drinks, food, cash, sunscreen, mosquito repellent…) as the Island does not have much facilities!
